Breast Cancer Awareness PSA

During the entire month of October, Virginia Hospital Center and 97.1 WASH-FM join together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Two Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) from Virginia Hospital Center will run on 97.1 WASH-FM all month. The message behind both PSA’s which are communicated by Jeanne Maguire, Virginia Hospital Center’s Chief Nursing Officer and breast cancer survivor, and David Duhamel, MD, Medical Director of the Rose Benté Lee Ostapenko Outpatient Oncology Center emphasizes the strong need for all women to receive a mammogram.
